February Vacation Family & Children’s Walking Tour of Concord

Concord 101 Walking Tour This engaging 45 minute walking tour is designed to make the history of Downtown Concord come alive for elementary-aged children. Learn about everything from the indigenous people who populated Concord to a notorious bank robbery on the Milldam.

The Old Manse transforms after dark. This winter, visit the Old Manse for a special candle-lit tour at twilight!

Wander the halls and explore the chambers of the Old Manse lit by candles and the setting sun.

A Visit with President Lincoln!

The Museum is pleased to again host Steve Wood and his amazing performance as Abraham Lincoln. Wood’s first-person historical interpretation, “A Visit with Abraham Lincoln,” includes stories of Lincoln’s early life, campaign debates, the Civil War, and concludes with a stirring reading of the Gettysburg Address. Accompanying President Lincoln’s visit, families can participate in a President’s Day craft to learn about how we celebrate and remember past leaders. Included with admission. Reserve tickets here. Monday, February 21st, 1-2pm

Concord Players presents Harvey 

The Concord Players are pleased to present live theater with Mary Chases’s Pulitzer Prize winning comedy “Harvey”. Elwood P. Dowd is a middle-aged, somewhat eccentric, amiable man whose best friend is an invisible 6 foot tall rabbit named Harvey.

Performance dates: February 18, 19, 24, 25 & 26 at 8:00 pm with matinees on February 20 & 27 at 2:00 pm.


African-American History of Concord Walking Tour

Learn about Concord’s African-American history on this 90 minute walking tour (about 2 miles). Guests will visit sites around town highlighting Concord’s history around slavery, the first generation of freed African-Americans and Abolitionism in Concord. Sunday, February 20th, 2pm

Maple Sugaring Open House @ Gaining Ground

Thursday, February 24, 2-3:30pm: Enjoy a steamy wintery day with friends and supporters of Gaining Ground  – and learn about sugaring as our farmers boil local maple sap into syrup! They are also doing this on Sunday, March 6th, 2-3:30pm.

Visit the ArtSpace Maynard Exhibit@ The Umbrella

The Umbrella Art Gallery is delighted to host a new exhibition of works by artists from ArtSpace Maynard, which has been temporarily closed for exhibitions. Work representing a variety of styles and media will be on display in their first group exhibition since the pandemic, with most work available for purchase through The Umbrella’s Art Cloud online art market gallery.
