Have you ever left a medical appointment and felt like you were not heard, or that you didn’t understand what the provider told you? If so, you are not alone. Start getting the most out of your medical appointments, feel confident when asking your provider questions, and be a better advocate for your own health. Come learn about patient self-advocacy. Be better prepared to actively participate at your next appointment and be active in decisions about your health. After the presentation you will have time to share your challenges and/or successes with others in the group.
