From Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, to the unmatched simplicity and elegance of a Tuscan kitchen, to the cellars of Chianti…Tuscany offers sights, sounds, and tastes that have become representative of both the region and the country itself.
But we’re a long way from the jug wine wrapped in straw now. Although the wines of Chianti have maintained excellent quality and reputation over the decades, many equally exciting, lesser-known wines have begun to emerge onto global palates as well.This week, we’ll be exploring an assortment of classic and up-and-coming producers throughout the region, representing a variety of different wines and styles…despite the somewhat tired iconography we often associate with Tuscany, I think you’ll see there’s a lot of new and exciting wines to discover in this dynamic and historic region.
