
Concord Free Public Library Concert, Rotunda
Peter Sykes is one of the most distinguished and versatile keyboard artists performing today. He will be performing a harpsichord concert reflecting music in homes in the American colonial era.
Concerts are free and open to the public, but reservations are required. Reservations open at 9 a.m. on the Saturday two weeks before the concert. The library closes at 5 on the day of the concert, volunteers with oversight from a library staff member prepare for the concert, then the doors are opened for the audience at 7 p.m. Concerts are about 90 minutes long, including a brief intermission.
Save Date for April 5: Stephen Drury is a pianist and conductor on the faculty of the New England Conservatory. His program features Bach, Beethoven, and Charles Ives’s Concord Sonata.
