“Concord in Fifty Years” Through the words of today’s high school students High school students participated in an essay contest, asked to consider Concord’s role in history while imagining the changes they anticipate over the next fifty years. Many essay entries were uplifting, while also noting the challenges that face Concord, the nation, and the world today. Lucy Butler, Madeleine Clancy, Aurora Hao, Noah Jina, and Sanjeev Sridhar will be recognized and awarded for their winning essays at the Wright Tavern on Saturday, December 21 at 4 PM. The public is invited.
