The Concord Band’s Winter Concert explores the theme of Music from Warm Places. The concert will be held at 7:00 pm, Saturday March 8, 2025, at the 51 Walden Performing Arts Center in Concord, MA under the baton of Music Director James O’Dell. The program celebrates Latin musical themes with Concerto for Clarinet and Wind Band by Óscar Navarro featuring soloist Jerry Vabulas, Little Mexican Suite by Nubia Jaime-Donjuan, Volver A La Montaña by Shelley Hanson, Fantasia Latina by Terry White (2020 commission by Concord Band by percussionist Neil Tischler), and a guest performance by the Area 9 Saxophone Quartet. The concert admission is free, with a $20 donation requested.
