ConcordPride is being celebrated for the  first time in Concord, MA  with joy and excitement and the intention of lifting  up the LGBTQIA community. Concord Pride demonstrates the town’s explicit commitment to affirming the lived experiences and celebrations related to the LGBTQIA+ community that take place annually during the month of June.

ConcordPride is a month-long series of events and activities sponsored by local organizations that provide fun and educational ways to learn and celebrate during the  month of June culminating in a weekend of festivities June 21-23.

ConcordPride Fest begins with a flag raising in Monument Square, a rally and march down Main St followed by events, music, crafts , entertainment and food throughout the  day in both Concord and West Concord. The event is fun, free, family friendly and welcomes all.

Around Hear Family Concert

Around Hear enriches our local communities with their innovative, fun, and uplifting chamber music concerts, bringing joy and excitement to families and music lovers of all ages!

Purchase Tickets in advance or payable at the door for this event. ($10 General Admission and free for students 18 and under)

Explore music with all your senses. Families are invited to listen to chamber music, see images, and create their own floor art at this energetic concert adventure! The Somerville based chamber ensemble Around Hear will perform works by J.S. Bach, Dvořák, and local composers Mike Kelley and Dan Sedgwick, whose musical subjects range from exoplanets to pigeons!

Around Hear founders and core members violinist Marji Gere and pianist Dan Sedgwick are joined by singer Will Green. The program will open with a special feature of one of CCM’s own student performers.
