In this course participants will learn about Cuban history, including the long relationship between Cuba and the United States. Each participant will purchase and read the Pulitzer Prize winning book “Cuba, An American History” by Ada Ferrer. The book is available on Amazon in paperback ($17.99) or Kindle Edition ($10.79).
Participants will read and be prepared to discuss assigned chapters prior to each class. For the first class please read the Prologue, Part I, and Part II (80 pages). A syllabus will be distributed at the first class. The fee for the 6 sessions is $20 per person, check payable to the Town of Concord.
